Erica Blaire Roby

A recent appearance on the Food Network show Blue Smoke Grill shows that Roby has more than a background in cooking than most people might think. She studied under the best chefs and won a $7500 Preserve the Pit fellowship award. As she faced off against some of America's best chefs, her barbecue skills were put to the ultimate test. Roby persevered despite having to cut her finger.

Roby, a psychology graduate, has worked as a wine expert as well as a criminal defense attorney. Before she competed on Food Network's Food Network, she worked as a wine expert, matching wines with dishes. This work gave her the opportunity to rediscover her passion for cooking and for the kitchen. Roby grew up in a family that owned a barbecue restaurant.

Despite her legal career, Roby decided to take up cooking barbecue after having her first child. Her father's dream of her opening a barbecue restaurant inspired her, so she decided to take up the challenge. Roby enrolled in the celebrity pitmaster Harry Soo's barbecuing cooking course in 2018. After completing the course, Roby was certified as a pitmaster and began work in a barbecue restaurant.


Her passion for barbecue began as a hobby and she eventually became obsessed with BBQ. She started out by cooking on her backyard patio. She then went on to compete at barbecue competitions all across the country, where she cooked alongside some of the most renowned pit masters in America. Since then she has started a series pop-ups throughout Dayton, Ohio. She plans to open a food truck.

Team Brawl vs. Team Brawl and Team Anne

Food Network BBQ Team Brawl 3 will feature two of the finest chefs from around the globe competing for the ultimate title in grilling. Anne Burrell will battle Jet Tila, Bobby Flay, and Team Anne in a dinner-party brawl. Matt Roth, a favorite of "BBQ Brawl", returns to the Austin-based Smokin Beauty along with his wife Thao.

In the first episode of Food Network BBQ Team Brawl, Ann told the contestants what to make while Team Bobby and Jet let them choose what to make. Team Bobby fell for his ceviche while Jet let them choose. This time, Team Anne has a big advantage. Anne even jumped in front of Team Bobby's contestant as he reached out for an ingredient.

Like all Food Network competitions there are many familiar faces in the new season BBQ Team Brawl. Lee Ann Whippen, who has competed in barbecuing for 23 years, will serve as the judge for Team Anne. Her business responsibilities include managing Deviled Pig Tampa and serving as a judge for Kansas City Barbecue Society. She has won multiple state and world barbecue championships and has starred on TV shows like BBQ Pitmasters and Throwdown with Bobby Flay.


Flay and Symon were also in a battle for the best barbecue sandwich. This time, Lee Ann took a more traditional approach to the sandwich, while Susie went for an exotic twist. Although the judges liked her pork belly mi, they thought it was too thick. Team Anne's burger was flavorful, juicy and on a sturdy bun.

"Bobby Flay on Food Network BBQ" is a high-impact cooking show that follows the quintessential grill master. Bobby Flay uses delicious, global ingredients to show his bbq skill. Bobby Flay transforms his backyard to be a barbecue paradise by using the grilling tools that he is most fond of. In each episode, Bobby Flay takes the grilling game up a notch.

After starting Mesa Grill in 1991, Bobby Flay was recognized as one of America's top chefs. He was the recipient of the James Beard Foundation Rising Star Chef Award. He also opened Bobby's Burger Palace, Bolo and Bar Americain. Bobby Flay is also the author of over 14 cookbooks, and has a podcast together with Sophie. Bobby Flay was dating Christina Perez as a senior content editor and creative director for Miss Grass Cannabis Company. Flay is the father of one child, a girl, who was born in 1996.

The ranch will welcome a new batch to compete in the first episode. Each team will present a signature skewer. The teams will be challenged in a team brawl. The Master of Cue winner will be declared the official BBQ expert for Food Network's digital platforms. The series will have 10 episodes beginning June 14.


The new season of "BBQ Brawl" will premiere on Food Network at 9 p.m. EDT on Sept. 9. Sling and Philo offer the opportunity to view the first season for free online.
